This is a simple but quite refreshing recipe. The chili will definitely wake up your senses and make your blood run a bit faster on any cold autumn day.
The ingredients listed below yield two small glasses of this delicious nectar.
Ingredients:
- 8 ripe, juicy pears
- 2 hot chili peppers, add more if you like the heat
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- tiny pinch of Celtic sea salt to balance the flavors
- Trim and cut the chili peppers lengthwise. Remove the seeds. Chop roughly.
- Wash the pears. Cut into halves and remove the core. Cut the pears into smaller chunks. Leave the skin on.
- Toss all pears and chopped chili peppers into your blender and process on high speed speed. Add cinnamon and salt, and blend again. Adjust the taste.
- Pour the nectar into glasses and enjoy in good company!
Tip: Add a chunk of ginger and some warming chai spices instead of cinnamon. For enhance immune protection add some local raw honey.
