Quick and Easy Creamy Chocolate Smoothie

Here is a quick smoothie recipe. Quick, easy, versatile. You can use the same ingredients in different proportions to make delicious n-ice-cream or a pudding. You can add spices, bananas, nut butters, use coconut milk instead of coconut water, or add a scoop of raw protein to change the taste or enhance the nutrient content. Experiment! It's fun.



Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups coconut water
  • 2-3 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup raw cacao, add more if you like
  • 3-5 soft Medjool dates, pits removed
  • pinch pink Himalayan salt
  • few drops of vanilla extract

Method:
  • Toss all ingredients into a blender and whiz until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour smoothie into tall glasses and enjoy in good company! 

Tip: If you do not have a very powerful blender, you may want to soak the dates in water for couple of hours or overnight. Prepare ahead and keep them in fridge ready for your morning smoothie.
