Oh! Mega Healthy Raw Mango Smoothie


 
Is there a better way to start a day than to have something for breakfast that will nourish the mind, body and soul all at once? 

People who embraced raw food are very conscious about their choices and I wish that most of us had the time and leisure to start a day in a meaningful way.

If you have a very busy week, make sure that at least your weekend is bit more peaceful. Create a sanctuary and take time to replenish all the energy that was lost during the week. Start with pure, raw, nourishing food, plenty of pure water, and a smile that never fades from your face.

If you are very busy during the week, make large batches of smoothies and juices during the weekend. You can freeze them in ice cube forms for a later use. During the week simply take a few smoothie or juice ice cubes and blend them with coconut water or a nut milk of your choice. This will save you a lot of time and reduce the stress in the morning.


Ingredients:
  • 2-3 organic mangoes
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 cups raw coconut water
  • 1 cup sprouted raw omega blend smoothie mix
  • 1 tsp raw honey (optional)
  • 3-5 ice cubes

Method:
  • Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh into manageable chunks.
  • Blend mango and coconut water for 20 seconds. 
  • Add banana and blend again.
  • Add omega smoothie blend and honey, throw in ice and blend until smooth. Use raw honey to provide maximum support for your immune system.
  • Pour the smoothie into tall glasses and enjoy in good company! 

This smoothie is such a blessing! If you are practicing vegan you will have to skip the honey. But even without honey this smoothie tastes good. Make sure that your mangoes are really ripe. Use young Thai coconut if you can. The next best thing is bottled raw coconut water. Not very easy to find, but really worth buying.
